Microsoft training institutes are set to be the first in the country to become “fusion centers” for the company’s new Xbox One console, the company said on Monday.
The Microsoft training and development center, currently called the Microsoft Research Campus, is being developed by a company called Kroll Labs.
The center will host the Xbox One launch and is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
Microsoft announced in December that it would invest $5 billion in the Kroll Lab in the Seattle area to develop software for the Xbox, including its cloud-based games and entertainment service, which it is expected be named Microsoft Studios.
Microsoft will also open its new Seattle headquarters to the training and gaming industry.
In March, Microsoft announced that the Xbox was “on track” to ship by the first quarter of 2019.
