“Gachibawli training facility will help the Government better understand how Australians are living, working and playing with respect to the environment,” said Environment Minister Rob Stokes.
A $10 million project has been completed and the new facility is expected to open in late 2018.
The facility will provide training to more than 3,000 people and will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from March until October 2019.

The Government’s environmental assessment of the facility concluded that the project would help improve the management and management practices of the Government.
In the environmental assessment, the Government said the project was designed to provide a safe environment for employees, staff and Government officials.
Gachibo training facility is a joint venture between the Government and Gachisa International Incorporated (GI) a private company based in Queensland.
It will be managed by the Government in partnership with Gachibi International.
